SOVIET RECOGNITION AGREED UPON.

PEKING, June 1. After a month’s critical negotiations China and Russia have signed an agreement by which the former recognises the Soviets. The agreement provisionally settles the fate of the Chinese Eastern railway, of which the management is placed in the hands of Russia, who takes over the railway and debts. China restores Russian Government, property. The Soviets allocate the Russian share, of the Boxer indemnity to a fund for the education of Chinese.
