BAKER'S BANKRUPTCY.

ESTATE OF R. A. GREEN.

Reginald Arthur Green, baker, of Maknrakn, has made the following statement relative to his petition in bankruptcy: “I have gone carefully into my position, and I find that with the expenses I have to face ar.d steady opposition, my turnover is not what it should bo, and I" am certain that if I continue I would steadily go back. I have made every effort to get mv landlady to cancel my lease, but without success. If I carried on until my lease expires in two years’ time, X would he doing so to the detriment of my creditors. My business has sulfered owing to lack of shipments of flour and 1 am faced within the next day or so with having to stop breadmaking as there is no flour in the district. lliis would have the effect of giving my business a serious setback if I did not practically lose all mv trade.”

Herald £1 13s; N.Z. Loan Co. £4 18s sd: D. J. Barry, Ltd., 13s 6d: AY. Dixon, £8 6s 3d; \ A Cleave. £l2: Alann and Bullard. V-ioHp j. "Williams. £9; C. Lane £8 T()s and B. Adams £los ; total £lB5 is Td. The only secured creditor is the Repatriation Board, whose security is over a bouse in Victoria Township.
