The annual report of the Oceanic Steam Navigation Company (W bite Star Line) with reference to the Australian service, says : „ it- proves the disappointing affecting exports from Australia, which have be oil unsatisfactory and accentuated by the over supply of tonnage due to the lack of co-operation among the steamship companies engaged in the trade. The company had a profit of £374,000 after certain deductions.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
