NINE MURDERERS IX 3 YEARS NOT TRACKED.
During the last few years there have been a number of unsolved murders in Britain.
Prominent among the unsolved crimes have been:
January 12. 1920. —Nurse Shore, attacked in a train between I ietoria Station and Lewes, dying from her injuries. January 17, 1920. —Mrs Frances Buxton. landlady of the Cross Keys Hotel, Chelsea, S.W., found murdered in the cellar. January 20. 1920. —Reuben Mort, a retired blacksmith, aged 7s, attacked in hi< house at Little Lever, near Bolton Lancs, and died from his injuries. January 25. 1920. —Joseph Hoare. a farmer, and Mrs Laura Sarah. Ins housekeeper, were murdered at Skinner’s Bottom, near Truro, Cornwall. July 27. 1921.—Miss Alice Lawn; 50 found murdered in her small general shop at 70, King-street, Cambridge. December 2, 1921.—Walter Hulse, farmer and licensee of the White Swan Hotel. Talke. Staffordshire, shot and killed while in lied beside his wife. January p 6. 1923. —Mrs Mary Pelham, found strangled and with her head battered in bed at her house at Portsoa. Portsmouth.
December ", 1923. —Mrs Norman Bailey, found murdered in her fiat at Hove. Sussex. Her husband. Major Bailey, has been missing ever since.
