WELLINGTON, May 6. A party consisting of Mr. E. Page, a - v i 1 Chief Detective Kemp and the Courl clerk visited the Wellington Hospital to-day to take t ] l ® dG .P° S J tions in a case in which Julia Huct dlesden is charged with -unlawfully using an instrument on a single woman Lucy Josephine Pope, and a man Roy Pinny, is charged with procuring Ruddlesden to commit a 01 Pope, in her evidence, said the accused Pinny was responsible for her condition'. Pinny made arrangements r „nd witness visited^.Ruddlesden, who performed an operation. She later became ill, and on the advice of Pinny admitted everything to Dr Luke, who ordered her removal to. the hospital. After witness had completed liei evidence- the hearing was adjourned and the accused were remanded.— P.A. _
