Miss Foster, he said, was an official whom they were sorry :to lose. During her term of engagei ment, she had always done all ini her , power to forward the objects and in- | tcrests of the Union, and she would leave a vacancy hard to fill. The president, wished’ Miss Foster every success in her new duties. Other members also spoke in appreciative terms of th<? good work of Miss Foster, who suitably replied. Mr. J. A. Campbell,~Directer of the Horticultural Division, arrived from Napier on Saturday.- To-day and tomorrow Mr. Campbell will inspect the district, and all those interested who wish AU. Campbell will judge tho fruit and flower sections of the Chrysanthemum Show, and that evening will leave by the Arahura fcr Wellington.
