Fifty-three members of Parliament have accepted the invitation to witness the opening of the Otira tunnel, but it is not likely all will gu on account of sickness. Among those, asked was Mrs It. While practising Association football at Devon port yesterday, James Alexander Pulmaii, aged 30 years, collided with artoLlicr plaver, then heads striking forcibly. Both, men were knocked out. I’libnan recovered sufficiently to walk home, when a doctor was called in and ordered his removal to the hospital. An operation was -performed, but death supervened during the evening. Pulmaii solved nearly four years at the front.
