SOCCER.
P.B. FOOTBALL ASSN. A meeting of the Poverty Bay Football Assn, was held last 'night. Present: Messrs. Warner, Harvey. AVaaka, Hill, Johnson and Crighton It was decided that the action of tlie chairman in permitting the Hockey Assn, the use cf the Soccer ground for practising pruposes in view of their forthcoming represen tative match he endorsed. The secretary was instructed to write the Auckland Association expressing sympathy in the recentdeath of oi:e cf their players. On Saturday Mercantile will meet Red Rovers on the Reserve at 3 p m. Referee, Mr. AlcKay.
