The Westland branch of the Rail. wa> Officers’ Institute to-night passed a resolution that it being understood that only one member of the service at Grevmouth received an invitation to the'official opening of the Otira tunnel, this meeting regrets tho apparent intention of those responsible to ignore the local controlling officu.s of the district.—iP.A.
