SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
NOMINATIONS FOR ELECTIONS.
The following nominations have oeen received by the registrar for the election of school committees, at the statutory meetings of householders: Gisborne School: Messrs, F. C. Perry, W. R. McMurray, G. Wildish, James Barr, W. G. Robinson, A. Sawyer, A. McMullen, Mrs. J. Church, and Rev. J. Aitken. The nominations, which comprise the whole of the present committee, just equal the number of vacancies, and no election will he necessary. To Hapara School: Messrs R. Fredericks, W. Priestley, A. Hepburn, W. Duckworth, G. K. Pasley, W. M. Jenkins and J. C ; Hardie. As there are nine seats and only seven nominal tions, two additional members will have to be recommended to the Education Board by the new committee.
Mangapapa School: Messrs. D. L. Ensor, R. Morrison, W. Young, J. S. Faulds, J. Renwick, H. Holmes, C. Somervell, S. Chiles and W. J. McCiiskie. The nominations equal the number of vacancies.
