INSURANCE COMPANIES MERGE
SYDNEY, March 7. An agreement lias been reached by which the National Mutual Association of Australasia Ltd. is taking over the business of the. Equitable Life Assurance of the United States. Including properties, the amount involved totals £1,850,000, of which the price allowed for the head offices in Sydney and Melbourne exceeds half a million. —U.P.A. 1 ,
