SALE AT INVERCARGILL. DROP IN MEDIUM AND INFERIOR WOOLS. INVERCARGILL. March 5. The second wool sale was held today, when 7500 hales were offered to the usual bench of buyers. When quality is considered prices showed a drop of about Id to fd in medium and inferior wools. The quality of the wool was not. lip to that of the previous sale. Bidding was .brisk for the better quality clips and spasmodic in other classes. Halbfred: super, 21cl to 231 d. Medium do. 17d to 20d. Inferior do. lo|d to 173 d. Fine crossbred, super 16|d to 18|d. Medium do. lod to 16Jd. Inferior do. 14d to 15d. Medium crossbred 12d to 14fd. Inferior do. 9d to 12d. 1 Coarse crossbred 9Jd to lid. Medium do. Bfd to 10^d. Inferior do. 83d to B|d.
