At the wool sale there was excellent competition and a large attendance, buyers fearing that- the" present holdings will not suffice till the next sales in September. Merinos were distinctly harder than last week. Crossbreds were firm with an improved demand. Glenthorn e brought up to 42101, average 39. The Bradford market is firm, with a good tone, but business is quiet.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
