SHIPPING DISPUTE.
UNION SECRETARY REPLIES 'TO PREMIER. “HUGHES BEHAVING LIKE A PEEVISH CHILD.” SYDNEY, June 30. Air. Walsh, replying to Mr Hughes, said'that the latter was behaving more like a peevish child than a statesman. It is idle for Air Hughe* to term the men dupes for standing by a mate who was singled out lor victimisation. He disc-lamed having any connection with the Largs Bay dispute. He did not know why Air Hughes singled him out for attack. Apparently* he had not got over the fact that lie was being _ lorced to spend half a million to bring the Commonwealth Line up to requirements of decency in accommodation. —U.P.A.
