PACIFIC TREATY.
PRESENTATION IN SENATE. (Received Feb. 23. 5.15 p.m.f WASHINGTON. Feb. 22 % Senator Johnston presented the Foreign Relations Committee reservations on the Pacific- treaty, which limit the signatory Powers’ rights to rights undisputed by any other Power, it being understood that- in any present or rut ire dispute regarding the validity cf rights Powers 'may reserve full ’ liberty of judgment.—A. and N.Z. C.A. (Received Feb. 23. 7.5 D.m.) WASHINGTON. Feb. 22. Mr Lodge is appealing to President Harding in an effort to stave off the adoption of the reservations regarding the Four-Power Pacific treaty. Mr Lodge prevented a vote by the Foreign Relations Committee on the Brandegee reservations by announcing that lie wanted to discuss -he reservations with the president.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
