RED TROOPS DEFEATED

BERLIN, Dec. 28. Reports from Helsingfors state that tierce fighting continues between Karelin’s troops and the _ Bolsheviks. The former occupied Porajalry. The Bolsheviks lost two hiindred killed and many wounded prisoners and much war material. The bulk of the scattered Bolshevik columns succeeded in escaping.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
