ATTORNEY-GENERAL’S ERROR

MR REARDON’S APPOINTMENT DOES NOT LAPSE.

WELLINGTON, September 14

The Attorney-General, in an amended opinion on the Arbitration Court situation, says he now'finds he is in error in stating that Mr Reardon’s position as deputy representative has been rendered vacant. Air Reardon’s appointment does not lapse in consequence of Air AlcCullough’s resignation.—P.A.

AUCKLAND, September 14. The Auckland Amalgamated Society of Engineers have nominated AlessrMcCullough and Rloodworth. for the two vacancies on the Arbitration Court. Mr Bloodwortk accepts nomination for the representative position if Mr McCullough declines. He will stand for the deputy.ship if Air McCullough consents. —P.A.
