FALL -FROM BEDROOM WINDOW
CARTERTON, Sept. 14. Walter Dear, a soldier settler at, the Ahiaruhe soldier settlement who was staying at the Marquis Hotel, in his sleep at 3 o’clock this morning opened a bedroom window 16 feet above the ground and stepped out. He was picked up with his face cut and bruised. Both wrists were broken. He was attended by Dr Edie ahd two medical students of the Otago football team, and was admitted to Masterton hospital.—P.A.
