ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
CHILD SUFFERING FROM SHOCK. FALL INTO A COPPER. An eighteen-month-old child, Daniel Mullen, a son of, Mr. and Mrs. Mullen, of Waerenga-a-hika, was admitted to the Cook Hospital yesterday afternoon .suffering from shock. The child, it is stated, fell into the copper while his mother was preparing the dinner. Fortunately the water in the copper was cool, and the child’s condition is not ' considered serious. , TRAGIC DEATH. TRAVELLER EXPIRES IN* CLUB. WELLINGTON, Aug. 10. Ihe tragically sudden death occuri'c^ i to-day of William S. Espie, a well-known Wellington resident, and traveller for Johnston and Co., who expired in the vestibule of the Commercial Travellers’ Club while talking to some friends.
