The Araiura left Auckland at 5.30 p.m. yesterday for Gisborne, Tia Toko cnaru Bay, and arrives iere to-night. If tie steamer reaches iere in time she will be tendered with tie launch for inward passengers up-on anchoring. The launch for outward passengers is to leave the wharf at 7 p.m. to-mor-row, the Araiura proceeding later to Napier. The Te Aroha arrived at Auckland, at midnight on Monday and sails tonight for the Coast and Gisborne. The Elsie Mary is still loading general cargo at Auckland for Gisborne. Discharge of fhe Koranur's cargo has been delayed by the heavy sea in the Bay. Y-esterday the swell showed no sign of abating and it is impossible to state definitely when a start c-an be made. Immediately conditions permit, unloading will be prc-ceeded with, and upon completion the Koranui sails for Napier.

Advice received by Messrs Clare an a Clare state- that the bar at Wairoa is not yec safe for snipping and the departure of the War Lord from Gisborne is postponed pending a more favorable report. The schooner La- completed loading hardwood poles. At Wairoa she is to take on a cargo of gravel for Gisborne.

The Union Co.'s Coileir Eakanoa was expected to leave Newcastle yesterday for Gisborne with a cargo of coal, about 1000 tons of which are to be landed here. On, completion of discharge of her local cargo tie v--=e! to sail for Auckland to put out the balance.
