FURTHER TREASURES FOUND
(Receiy-ed July 26, 10 p.m.) ROME, .July 25. Important new discover es of treasures at Pompeii yvere made recently as the result of excavations which have - been in progress since 1901. The discoveries include a number of fine paintings, one depicting the twelve Custodians of the City, a house yvitli the remains of the* balcony and first floor, two beautiful porticos, the pergola above four shops, an elaborate bar covered yvitli election posters on a sacrificial altar yvith the- ashes of the last sacrifice preserved.—Times.
