GISBORNE Y KAHUTIA. GISBORNE CLUB IN THE, LEAD. Tlio second inter-club game of the season between the Gisborne and Kahutia Clubs was commenced yesterday afternoon, when the competing clubs were represented by nine rinks, five playing on the Kahutia green and four on the Gisborne • green. The result was that Gisborne finished on the day’s play with a lead of 42 points. The score's on the various greens were: On Kahutia green, Gisborne 113, Kalmtia 96;, on Gisborne grpen, Gisborne 193 Kahutia 78. Thus the club scores were, Gisborne 216, Kahutia 174, a difference in Gisborne’s favor of 42 points. The game will he continued to-morrow afternoon, when the Saturday players meet. The scores yesterday were as under, the Gisborne teams being mentioned first in each instance :
