In “New 1 ork Luck.” a strong story of romance and adventure with a fascinat ng element of comedy. William Russell and Francelia Biliington each achieve big successes. The theme is clever and original and it concerns a young man whose chief occupation seems to be that of day dreaming, but the way in wh ch lie proves that lie lias plenty of active thoughts, makes a really good picture, which is not without its thrilling moments. The action is set amid a variety of scenes and throughout, the swiftlymoving plot keeps all interested The other picture attraction is “Eternal Love,” a plav in which all the romance, the charm, jhe youth, the Bohemian atmosphere of the much described Latin quarter of Paris, are presented with great brilliance. It is a finely produced photoplay with an appealing theme, artistically and cleverly produced. A special attraction for the evening sesson will he the national songs by Maclaine Annette Hayward, the operatic contralto, who will sing “Home. Sweet Home,” “Killarnev.” and “Annie Laurie.” a programme of numbers with an English, Irish anil Scotch appeal. A good Sunbeam comedy will also he included in the picture hill.
