As a drama “The Silver King’’ j still retains its reputation of being the • greatest melodrama ever written for I the English stage. Its sensational incidents. its magnificent story that rings ! true from first to last, and the wonderful love interest . u the play will make “The Silver King” one oi t 'f? immortal British productions. \\ ilson Barret was the first man to play AVilfred Denver, since when it has been played by every class of leading man.
