AUSTRALIAN TENOR’S SONG RECITAL.
OPERA HOUSE—TO-MORROW EVE AT AG. The following extracts are taken from press notices in reference to Mr Atnoore. who is to give a song recital at the Opera House to-morrow night:—The Australian Aews: “Air Amoore showed Tilmself to he an artist of cons derable weight. llis voice is well produced, and he knows well hew to_ interpret the meaning behind the music." Galloway Advert ser (Scotland): "Air Frank Atnoore is the possessor of the finest tenor voice that has been heard in Stranraer for many a day. and his singing evoked rapturous applause.’' The Hythe Reporter (England): "Air Frank Amoore is au operatic artist. This was evidenced by h;s marvellous rendering of “On With the Motley.’‘ from VagliacciW Inglewood Record: “Mr Amoore possesses a splendid tenor voice, and is without question the finest singer ever heard in Inglewood." Taranaki Herald: "His selections from the oratorios and particularly Handel, were finished performances. Throughout Mr Amoore proved himself a singer perfectly invited. ’’ Opunake Times; “lie is undoubted l y a singer of power and artistry, and stands head and shoulders above any professional singer heard in Opunake for many a day.” Air Ataoore will be assisted by Air T. Watson (baritone) and Mr T. Shone (senior honors Eovul Academy. London) accompanist. Mr H. Al. Ohovenux is acting manager for Air Amoore. The box plan is open at Alii lev’s corner, and the seats are rapidly being tilled up.
