The directors of the New Zealand Insurance Co., Ltd., have decided to recommend to their shareholders at the half-yearly meeting, to be held on August 11, the payment of a dividend of eightpence per share for the halfyear. —Press Assn. , MATAWHERO SALE. The Poverty Bay Stockbrokers'' Association held their weekly sale at Matawliero yesterday. There was a good attendance and bidding was brisk, the former good prices in all classes being maintained. The entries comprised 287 fat sheep, 29 fat cattle, 26 pigs, 5700 store sheep, and 402 store cattle. The following prices were realised (p) signifying that the line was 'passed at auction: —
