DOMINIONS INVITED TO ASSIST THE MOTHERLAND.

The Lord Mayor of London, appealing on behalf of the Imperial War Relief Fund to combat the disease and distress in the. war-stricken areas of Britain and Asm, says that £1,000,000 is required immediately. Ho points out that for the first time India, the Dominions and other possessions, of the Crown beyond the seas are being invited to make common cause with the Mother Country in an unselfish camnamn for the betterment of humanity. He° emphasises the chance now presented to make an arresting demonstration in the name of the united British peoples for the solace and healing of nations—Router.
