UNREST IN CAIRO.
ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION OF MINISTER. CAIRO. May 9. A bom)) was thrown at a Minister, Hussein Bey, when he was motoring homewards, accompanied by two judges. All escaped. The chauffeur was injured, also a student standing in the. vicinity was fatally wounded. It is believed a student threw the bomb, which, bitting the car, rirochetted before exploding.
A fellow student lias been arrested. An Italian was fatallv shot during disturbance in the native quarter. A. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
