PROBLEMS OF SHIPPING. CON FERENCE POSTPONED. On Saturday afternoon,_ the Secrely of the Fanners’ Pinion. Air M. Hayly, received the following icyram from Mr James G. Wilson, resident of the Hoard of Trade: — “Regarding conference- to he called by Board of Agriculture to discuss matters relating to -shipping and to frozen meat, it has -been found desirable to postpone this probably for a few weeks, the reason being that one of the most important matters to be discussed is that of shipping arrangements for produce after Imperial Governjmont’s purchases cease and owing to the Imperial authorities still [controlling insulated shipping, the [shipping companies are not yet in P position to furnish definite inforInation of nature necessary to enable discussion of conference to he Conclusive noon the weighty matters to he dealt with. “Further information as. to final decisions regarding Imperial Govwnment’s purchase of meat is also ect to come to hand. The Prime Vlin'istor advises that ho is taking -teppio secure the necessary infornat ion as soon as it becomes avlilabhv and conference will lie held it as early a date as circumstnn*es permit.”
