The Yorkshire miners state that they will decide their own policy irrespective of the Federation, and. the miners must re-open negotiations. Apart from piece work rates there are other disputes, including the question of a continuous shift. These workers get no reduction, of hours under the Sankey Commission, but some relief or extra payment must be arranged.
