(Received July 16, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 15. The Hon. G. H. Roberts, Minister for Food, says that the price of food between July 1914 and 1919 rose 109 per cent.
(Received July 16, 8.45 p.m.) LONDON. July 15. The Government proposes to establish a national system of local tribunals in Britain to investigate profiteering and to deal with all cases.

(Received July 1G ]0.40 p.m.) PARIS. July 15. In order to bring down the cost of living, the Government is erecting wooden booths for the sale of foodstuffs, and is organising cheap restaurants throughout France, selling stocks of food which have accumulated for Army purposes to co-operative societies. The Government is also creating a special police force to track down profiteers.
