Parisian Diamond will probably start in the Onslow Handicap and v.-ill have A. Oliver in the saddle, as Cray will have to ride Madam Riston.' The top-weight was bolting at live furlongs on Thursday. Canzonet has only got to start in the Kia Ora Handicap to be a good favorite. He won with ridiculous case or. the second day and the distance is shorter to-day. j Cynic and Multive are both to j.i.irf. in the Final Hurdles, hut this in a very open race. However, if the first-named jumps any better to-day lie will he very hard to beat. The three place-getters in the Wellington Steeples are all to start in ij 1( r f u ] v Steeples, and they look like again filling the places as the. going v,Tll lie greatly improved. Coalition may do better to-day.
