WELSH MINERS OBJECT TO
TERMS
MUNICIPAL STRIKE AT JOHANNESBURG.

Mr. Bridgman, in the House of Commons, announced that there were 115,327 men on strike on Saturday, and that they have now resumed work.
(Received April 1. 7.15 p.m.) The Nottingham miners’ strike has ended on the basis of substantial increases of pay. Contrary to the leaders’ exhortations, the AVelsh miners’ delegates, representing 150,000 miners, have passed a resolution at Cardiff strongly advising the miners to ballot against the Government’s terms.
Beuter’e Telegram*(Received April 1, 9.15 p.m.) JOHANNESBURG, March 31.. The municipal employees’ association has declared an immediate strike. A guarantee is given that trie water and sanitary services will he maintained.
