Marshal Foch has notified Germany to send plenary delegates to Spa on April 3, and to give a decision regarding Dantzig within iforty-eight hours.

Herr Erzberger is coming to Spa to discuss the military aspects of the Dantzig problem with Foch. He must reply to Foch’s demands within forty-eight hours. LONDON, March 31.
In the event of Germany’s refusal to sign the peace treaty, it is understood that Marshal Foch has been authorised to undertake a general advance on the Rhine. ,
Diplomatic circles discount the possibility of an arrangement with the Bolshevists.

The Foreign Office has decided to act in reference to the armistice only on the basis of Preident Wilson’s fourteen points.
HUNS ADHERE TO REFUSAL

It is reported from Berlin that the German Government adheres to its refusal to permit the landing of troops at Dantzig. The Allies emphasise ihe point that they do not w'ish io occupy Dantzig, but merely want the right of passage through. United Services. (Received April 1, 9.15 p.m.) PARIS, March 31. The Council has instructed. Marshal Foch to prepare for the landing of Polish troops at Dantzig by force if necessary. Meanwhile a most resolute demanci is being presented to Germany.
