A new war has practically started in South-Eastern Europe. Hungary’s defiance cannot be overlooked. She is openly mobilised against the Allies with two avowed objects—joining the Russian Bolshevists’ military enterprises and preserving Hungary intact. Skirmishes between Magyar and French outposts are reported. The French have withdrawn in order to avoid useless encounters.
