HIGH SCHOOL BOARD.
The High School Board met on Friday; present Messrs. Mann, (chairman), Bright, Kinder, Nolan, Matthews, Steele and Wildish. The Visiting Committee reported recommending several works. The recommendations approved. Various pressing world? were postponed for consideration of the financial position. The rector, in his monthly report, stated that the attendance had been very >ood. The roll number was 306 (195 boyS- and 111 girls). Miss M Moore and Miss Hayes were giving important assistance until the assistants arrived. Mr W. G.
