NOTES.

The Arahura is expected from Napier early this morning. She will be tendered at 6 a.m. The outgoing tender will leave at 7.30 p.m., and the vessel will leave later for Napier. The Monowai will leave Auckland to-day on her' run south. She will connect with the Arahura at Napier on Thursday morning. The Port Stevens was to leave Sydney on Saturday for Gisborne to load meat here and at Whakatane. She will leave the latter port on April 15 for Egypt. The schooner Elsie Mary arrived ill' Auckland on Sunday after a smart passage. The vessel left Gisborne on Thursday. The War Opal is due in Gishorne on Wednesday, April 9. She will lift approximately 23,000 bales of wool for Liverpool.
