INFANT RUN OVER BY TRAP

Leslie Vincent Bugler, of Springlands', aged 17'months,; was run over by a horse and trap and died immediately afterwards. BREACH OP AVAR REGULATIONS CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 14. AV. Magnusson, a Danish seaman, was fined £5 for a breach of the war regulations that being an alien .- he landed at Lyttelton without a passport. Accused admitted the offence, but urged, in extenuation that he was a loyal ’subject, having served with the Canadian forces. The evidence of the police sfiowed that accused was warned not to land without a passport, and that he evaded the police for two days.
