The Mayor moved that the prices •should be published. Or. Hill said that he knew of caseis where people had to pay more for the meat than the prices given. Cr. Mouat said that if they had a large card printed they might have them placed up in the shops. The Mayor said he did not think the Council could force the butchers to display the cards. Cr. Hill said that two ladies had gone to him with a complaint and he asked them to make their complaintbefore the Council, hut they would not do so. The motion was carried.
