Mona Nursery, 4 A furlongs.—Artilleryman 8.1 1, Moorna Lass 7.7 x, Denacre 8.10 3. Twenty-one started. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time, 57sec. Eclipse Stakes, 1 mile and 3 furlongs.—Outlook 7.11 1. Wolaroi 9.4 2. Democracy 7.2 3. Seven started. Outlook led ' all the way. Wolaroi met a little interference early in the race, but got a good chance in the straight, and made a vigorous finish, being beaten only bv a neck. Ethiopian was fourth. Eusibius ran badly.
