WAIROA HARBOR.
THE new or the old site. Press Association Telegram. WAIROA, October 12. At a largely-attended public rneetVj.ct the "Harbor Board laid before the ratepayers a proposal to construct o new harbor twenty-four miles east of Wairoa, connected by railway. Before the Board had a chance to submit a resolution, Mr J. S. Jessep, chairman «f the Meat Compai y, moved that the Board should.take all steps to maintain the ..present harbor. Another resolution, was also moved that if the Government, will build a railway Wairoa- will buiicl a,harbor.
