BRIEF LIBERTY ENJOYED. Press Association Telegram. AUCKLAND, August 19. Three Germans attempted to escape from Samoa in a motor launch, which they seized. Having impressed three natives and laid in provisions, they put to sea, it is believed with the object of capturing a larger vessel. The engine broke down, honevei, and the'party had to land at Mulilanua, where the Germans were axrested and taken back to Apia foi trial.
