Sir,—As Mr. Black has so generously contributed a French flag, should suggest it be placed m a conspicuous place, say, corner or ree Street, in charge of a few of our loyal workers, to enable every citizen to contribute his or her mite. i am sure the effort would meet with, great response. It is our bounden ctuty to i, support these French orphans, whose fathers have loyally 'given their lives, so that 'New Zealand might be free .from the tyranny of the Hun- I herewith enclose cheque for £lo. i am, vours, etc., J.
