Monowai, s.s., to-day. For .North — Arahura, s.s., to-day. Mako. s.s., to-morrow. MOTES. There were no movements at the port yesterday. The Arahura left Napier at $ o’clock last ’ evening and will arrive this morning. She will he tendered (weather permitting) at S o’clock. She will proceed later for Auckland via Tokomaru Bay. The last launch lias been provisionally fixed for 5 p.m. The Monowai left Auckland at 5.30 p.m. yesterday, and will arrive here this evening. She leaves later for southern ports, omitting Lyttelton. Owing to delay in the south as a result of bad weather, the Ripple will not come to Gisborne this week. The Mako has been further delayed in the south. She is now expected to call in here to-morrow to pick up passengers for the coast. The Rosamond,which loft Gisborne on Saturday night for Wellington and had,- to shelter at Napier, resumed her voyage on Monday, but has again been obliged to return to Napier for shelter. The Union Co.’s collier Kaitangata is sheltering at Tologa. The weather showed signs.of moderating last night.
