and Reuter’s. - (Received Julv 24. 7.30 p m ) LONDON, July 23. Anards of the Victoria Cross are gazetted in connection with tlie attack on Zeebrugge on the night of April 27.
Carpenter, of H.M.S. A indictjve, Lieutenant Sandford, commander of submarine C 3. Lieutenant Dean, commander of a motor launch, Captain Bamford (Marine Infantry) commander of one of tlie landing parties, Sergeant Finch (Marine Artillery), second in command of the pom-poms and Lewis guns on the Vindictive, and a!4eseaman McKenzie, a member of the storming party, all received tb e decoration.
Details show that each displayed heroic- and self-sacrificing bravery at critical moments.
