• Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds northwards of New Plymouth and Napier, and southerlies, changing to westerlies, increasing elsewhere,,. Expect cloudy to overcast conditions, with .rain probable, especially in the western districts and the, southern portion of the North Island, 'life barometer will fall in the south.
