DISPUTE OVER AWARD
(Press Association Telegram-) AUCKLAND. June 26. A conference of representatives, of boot manufactures of the dominion and representatives of the Now Zealand Federated Boot Trade, presided over bv Sir Frederick Lang, has been, sitting" here for the last three days, endeavouring to agree upon a new award to replace that which expired nn .Tune 5. No satisfactory progress towards a settlement could be made and the proceedings were abandoned the dispute will be brought before the Conciliation Council.
