President Wilson, addressing a Red Cross demonstration, said: ‘We must win the war and win it greatly. No limit need be placed on the men sent to France; all would be sent that ships could he found to carry. The United States was unable to trust the Teutons, as they had found them to he insincere. They intended, therefore, not only to stand by France,- but also Russia. -Nothing for a hundred years bad so united the nations as the present cause.
