(Received May 20, 9.25 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 19. Mr. Hoover announced to-day that the German meat ration liad been reduced from 225 grammes to 150 grammes for each person weekly. The wheat ration in Saxony and Wittenburg has been reduced from 250 to 150 grammes per day. • This is the result of the American embargo against neutrals. Meat rations in England and France have gone up to from 24 to 30 ounces, due to supplies sent from America.
