EVERYBODY’S
“Broadway-Arizona” was again responsible for attracting a large gathering of picture enthusiasts Everybody’s Theatre. This fine Triangle comedy-drama is a delightful and unique love romance, a putup job for advertising an actress that miscarried, as far as the promoters were concerned The actress enters into an engagement to marry a millionaire cowboy and when she secured all the publicity she desired, the contract is broken —but nob the man. His method of abducting her and the sequel to same makes a fine story. Olive Thomas takes the leading role and earns the heartiest applause for her artistic work. Her dressc-s are unique ahd form a strong attraction for the !• die- grt scenes in New York, and inie, t-tiifi glimpses of Arizona’s big ranenes assist in the general interest, lhe programme also includes a late Pathe Gazette and a New Zealand Government film of our mountainous regions.

Emmy AVehlen, Mbtro s charming leading lady, again captivated a large audience at the T a lace last night in “The Trail of the Shadow, Metro’s stirring six-reel feature. The fast-moving story is one that compels- attention, and one s admiration is aroused by the many beautiful scenes permeating the him. Henry Hilliard, a wealthy New Yorker falls in love with Sylvia Mason, a typical Western girl, and his mother tries to persuade the girl to give him up.
